The duration of the Commission's term is to be for five years. The representatives of undergraduate students, postgraduate students and doctoral candidates as well as the representative of visiting professors, visiting lecturers, visiting researchers and contract researchers employed by the HEI are elected on an annual basis and have the right to vote on matters related to their status. The Committee will be reconstituted compulsorily if any member of the Committee ceases to hold the office under which he or she was appointed.

The meetings of the Quality Assurance Committee are attended by the Head of the Office of the Quality Assurance Unit of the NKUA, Konstantinos Bourletidis, an employee of the NKUA, who is responsible for keeping the minutes of the Committee and his deputy at the meetings of the Committee is Mr. Theodoros Hadjitheodorou, an employee of the NKUA.
