RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Office of the QAU

a) The implementation of the decisions and the secretarial support of the Quality Assurance Committee of article 215 of Law No. 4957/2022, hereinafter referred to as the "Committee" in the execution of its work.

b) The submission of recommendations to the Committee and the preparation of materials for the adoption of relevant decisions.

c) The collection and processing of data from all academic and research units, as well as the administrative services of the HEI concerning the implementation of quality assurance to all activities of the HEI.

d) The cooperation with the HAHE and the support of the internal and external evaluation and accreditation procedures of the HEI, its individual academic and research units and of the first, second and third cycle study programmes, including foreign language study programmes and cooperation programmes, lifelong learning programmes in accordance with Law No. 4653/2020 (Α' 12).

e) The support of the procedures for the submission of the necessary documents to HAHE reagrding the accreditation - evaluation of the first and second cycle curricula, the academic units and other structures of the HEI, the Centre for Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning and the University Centre for Research and Innovation. 

f) The development, management, and monitoring of the IQAS of the HEI and, in particular, the implementation of the internal evaluation according to the quality manual of the IQAS.

g) The publication on the website of the institution of the data concerning the accreditation, internal and external evaluation of the HEI and its individual units.

h) The cooperation with all relevant departments for the collection of data and the completion of the values of the indicators in the process of preparation of the Annual Report of Achievements for the distribution of the annual regular grant of the HEI, according to article 16 of Law No. 4653/2020.

i) The responsibility for updating of the information system of the QAU, as well as the Integrated National Quality Information System (NQIS) of HAHE with the quality indicators of the institution and the development of interoperability with it.

g) The organization of Promotion and Publicity actions (Workshops, Conferences, etc.) related to the quality assurance processes both in the institution and in the ΕΗΕΑ.
